In this project, students will learn basic creative writing skills first before they will then finish stories whose beginnings or ends have been handed to them. Thematically, all stories come from the background of the "African American experience" and explore the rich history of black America. By creating stories themselves, and then comparing them to the real stories, students thus do not only learn some basic creative writing skills, but will also become much more perceptive readers of stories which they will have to analyze for their a-levels. As an "end" product, all stories will be put together in an ebook called "Creatwinning", which shows the students' stories and their reflections about the African American experience.
