  • About the project:

        This project aims to promote and consolidate the pleasure of reading as well as improving the reading skills through an articulated and collaborative work between school libraries and “classroom teachers”, while raising, at the same time, students’ awareness and commitment regarding themselves, their community and the planet.

     

    Aims:

    - Consolidate reading habits.
    - Improve skills associated with reading.
    - Develop the pleasure of sharing experiences of diverse forms of reading material (including experiences of reading to have access to information in different reading supports).
    - Associate the pleasure / benefit of reading to the development of a critical spirit, the ability to issue opinions and intervene in the world.
    - Use diverse digital tools to research and treat information, convey reading experiences, express ideas and work in a collaborative way.

     

    Working Process:

    - Introduction of teachers and students and becoming familiar with Twinspace.
    - Introduction of schools and their surrounding contexts.
    - Organization of groups made up of students from each of the different partner schools.
    - Research and sharing of bibliographic suggestions for autonomous reading within the scope of the project.
    - Sharing of readings and discussion of points of view.
    - Research and treatment of information regarding the theme of the project, in order to help soften / fight against climate changes.
    - Evaluation, by all the participants, of the work done, by resorting to an online questionnaire (done using Google docs).
    - Placing an application to The eTwinning Quality Label.

    The students will communicate and collaborate online using all etwinning tools and opportunities.
