Today, 15-6-2016, D1 class presented to our School Celebration Day a choreography with ribbons on a song about stars and asteroids as part of our project. We all enjoyed it. Also they presented a game that symbolizes the obstacles we had to overcome in order to achieve our goals. The message is : We all made it together! We are a great team supporting and encouraging each other!
Dear partners, the last three days of the school year D1 class, Evosmos has presented our Planet Diversity project through a poster announcement, at our school. We have posted information on our project, our links of the project and lots of pictures of both our work and our collaborative activities! We have also printed some of our e-books and it was fun to actually present them this way!

7th Evosmos - Learning and having fun with collaboration! Thoughts and feelings on the Big Event Day by D1 pupils of 7th Evosmos.
Most of the pupils declaired that they enjoyed visiting Pendalofos and meeting our partners from Pendalofos and Oraiokastro. They enjoyed sharing the day with a picnic and collaborative activities and games! But most of all , they were thrilled to meet their partners and start bonding! Making friends and developing emotions for each other were the highlights of the day! They are eager to meet again soon.
7th Evosmos-A Little song for our Human Body Systems. The Circulatory, the Respiratory and the Nervous System all together in a song, written by Anny and performed by D1 class.
7th Evosmos - 21-4-2016 Today, it was an exceptional day! D1 pupils along with our precious visitors Miss Athina and Miss Eleni visited Pendalofos School and met our partners from Pendalofos and Horeokastro! It was like entering a colorful garden full of extraordinary activities, presentations and games. Little Princes and Little Princesses, all Diversitarians acted, played, had pick-nic together and enriched life experience! But dear partners, most of all, our special GIFT at the end of the day was this Little Prince’s voice speaking through our pupils’ mouth saying: “I have made friends! Can I spend more time with them?” Thank you for your Gift partners, you have expanded our Planet, you have expanded our world!
Σήμερα, ήταν μια εξαιρετική ημέρα! Οι μαθητές του Δ1, μαζί με τους πολύτιμους επισκέπτες μας, κ. Αθηνά και κ. Ελένη, επισκέφθηκαν το Σχολείο του Πεντάλοφου. Εκεί συνάντησαν τους συνεργάτες μας από τον Πεντάλοφο και το Ωραιόκαστρο! Ήταν σαν να εισέρχεσαι σε ένα πολύχρωμο κήπο γεμάτο δραστηριότητες, παρουσιάσεις και παιχνίδια. Οι μικροί πρίγκιπες και μικρές πριγκίπισσες, όλοι πολίτες του Πλανήτη Διαφορετικότητα, δραστηριοποιήθηκαν, παρουσίασαν το έργο τους, έπαιξαν, έκαναν πικ-νικ μαζί και εμπλούτισαν τις ζωές τους! Αλλά πάνω απ 'όλα, το δώρο μας στο τέλος της ημέρας, ήταν αυτή η φωνή του μικρού Πρίγκιπα, μιλώντας μέσα από το στόμα των μαθητών μας, να λέει: « Έχω κάνει φίλους! Μπορώ να έχω περισσότερο χρόνο μαζί τους;». Σας ευχαριστούμε για το δώρο σας, συνεργάτες, έχετε επεκτείνει τον Πλανήτη μας, έχετε διευρύνει τον κόσμο μας!

“Meeting The Little Prince”
Today, 19-2-2016 D1 pupils-7th Evosmos, visited the Aristotle theater and watched the theatrical Play “The Little Prince”. It was a great performance! Congratulations to all! Afterwards, we met the actors and actresses of the play and shared thoughts and opinions on the play and the book. We also informed them about our project “Planet Diversity” and presented our Logo. They congratulated us and all our partners! At the end we took a picture of all, pointing at our star! Both pupils and educators were so excited! We enjoyed every moment! Thank you so much!

The Sunbeam Puzzle activity
D1 pupils and our Visitor and English teacher Eleni Mandalaridou had fun with the Puzzle activity proposed by our partners from the 8th Primary School of Pyrgos. Afterwards, they concluded on our Sunbeam message. Special thanks to Miss Eleni Mandalaridou. Moreover, we had this idea of cutting “strip paragraphs” and matching them with the book pages. That was an interesting and fun activity, too.

Miss Vasiliki Nevrokopli and “The Sunbeam Waver”
It was such an exciting day today! Miss Vasiliki Nevrokopli, the author of the Sunbeam Weaver, visited our school! D1 students along with all teachers were so happy to welcome her!
Miss Vasiliki is such a lively human being and has such a great contact with pupils! After a very vivid narration of her Sunbeam Weaver story, we shared opinions on so many issues that human beings wonder about. We talked about the importance of making mistakes in life, about our dreams that we long to come true, about inspiration, about the value of having some doubts - like the pilot of the story. Doubt led him not to trigger the bomb. Also, caring for others and being considerate of others is what makes Great people, like the pilot became a father of all children when he decided not to push the red button and spread happiness instead, with millions of painting falling from the shy. We discussed about the value of letting things happen for us, to go with the flow and not be very tense. Xaritonas became the Sunbeam Weaver not because he had this in mind, but because he observed closely what was happening and found the way to the pilots heart. Then as a domino, things started unfolding and happiness and light prevailed.
We also played with the colored cloth, made of dreams that cover the planet and added sunbeams to it, to be sent to our partner schools and to all parts of the world! Along with Miss Vasiliki, the Sunbeam from Pendalofos arrived that day! We were all so very excited! We all put hands on the envelope and read the message. “Always support and respect each other” What a great message! Thank you our friends.
Such a bright day we have shared! Thank you Miss Vasiliki Nevrokopli! You have set light on our spark and enlighten our way! Thank you pupils, you are all brilliant rays of light, our young Sunbeam Weavers!!!

The Little Prince and the Snake
D1 active team from 7th Evosmos had fun playing the snake game, proposed by our Pendalofos’ friends. We also experienced a collaborative snake of our whole class and shaped colorful “ribbon snakes”. We concluded: The Little Prince makes a choice. He returns to his Planet.
Our Visitor, Miss Eleni Mandalaridou had this unique idea for an Acrostic Poem. D1 pupils, team philosophers, supported this idea in such a wonderful way! Miss Eleni said: “This is the pupils’ attempt to write an Acrostic Poem where the first letters of the lines spell the phrase “The Little Prince”. Trying to put their thoughts on paper this is what our “little poets” came up with.

Interschool interaction
Dear partners, D1 class has visited C1 class and presented our e-twinning project “Planet Diversity”. It was an interschool interactive activity. A group of D1 class talked about our e-twinning project and videoconferences with our partners and introduced to their fellow students our active team. Pupils of C1 class gave us their feedback. At the end of our meeting, C1 pupils shared their drawings of Planets with us, that they created with their Art teacher Lefki Xaritou! A C1 pupil made a gesture of giving and a D1 pupil made a gesture of receiving! It was a special meeting for all of us and we suggest it to our partners, too.
To honor C1 we have also created a kizoa presentation with a bit of humour!

Our contribution to the collaborative Logo.
After a discussion D1 students of 7th Evosmos concluded on a collaborative story. The writer’s airplane - from 3rd Experimental School flies around (you can see the little dashes) the School of Oreokastro, Pendalofos, Astypalea and Sardine and lands on our planet - 7th School of Evosmos. Little Prince and pupils play together in the school yard. Finally, Little Prince flies away with birds to visit our partners’ schools and other planets.
D1 pupils - Presenting ourselves
Hi partners! D1 students of 7th Primary School of Evosmos are introducing themselves. They prepared the text with the support of their English teacher, Eleni Mandalaridou-Visitor, typed it in the computer lab with their teaher Yanni Tsotsaki (the original texts are presented) and painted a self portrait with the guidance of their Art teacher, Lefki Haritou. Everything was joined together by their PE teacher Valia Sazaklidou. We all had fun!
7th Primary School of Evosmos - D1-Our School
Our school is in Evosmos, in Thessaloniki. It is the 7th Primary School of Evosmos. It is large and it has got a big playground. There are many classrooms, a computer lab and a library. There are some wall-paintings in the corridors. In the playground there is a basketball court, a volleyball court and hopscotch. We love our school very much. D1 class pupils wrote this introduction about their school with their English teacher and Visitor Eleni Mandalaridou. Afterwards, they took pictures of their school and classroom.
