Our country is in central Europe and sometimes it is called as “a heart of Europe”. The capital city is Prague (Praha). We have a rich and eventful history. The Czech lands consist of three parts: Bohemia, Moravia and Silesia.

We are famous for the highest beer consumption per person in the world as well as for beautiful castles and medieval buildings.

What you may not know about the Czechs:

1. We are mad about mushroom picking in the forests.
2. The word “robot” was firstly used by Czech writer Karel Capek.
3. The ever-changing wall of graffiti named after John Lennon is in Prague.
