The book is a result of a successful eTwinning project cooperation. Its authors are students from 29European schools. Each school searches for a tree, which is special and remarkable in its region. The students visited the site on a special field trip. Then, they created short stories about the tree. They brainstormed the question “What would we learn if the trees could talk?”.The best story from every school was published in this book in English by its authors:the students. There were pictures drawn by students to every story. Every participating school had 3 pages to fill in by hand with the chosen story and drawings. After this, the book was sent to the next country to be filled in. The book has been on a trip through the
entire continent from partner to partner and it reached every participating school. With this book we - the participating teachers from 29 countries, wanted to help our students form a strong connection with nature and develop positive attitudes and feelings toward the natural environment. We wanted to develop a sense of respect and caring for the natural environment. The title of the book is “eTwinning tree”, because the book is part
of eTwinning project dedicated to the eTwinning program.
The Travelling book started its jpurney in November 2015 and finished travelling in September 2017
