Calendar for each month of work

  • October

    1. Pupils present themseves, their school and their country (to 15 X)
    2. Create a logo of the project - Children make up the logo. Choose one and send the TwinSpace. I (Bozena) I make this presentation. Schools are voting on a joint logo design. To 26 X Please fill in the materials a proposal for a "logo design" of each school. I put them together. By the end of the month, each school can cast one vote for the logo (the proposal will be 9 - because it is 9 schools).
    3. We take pictures of nature. 3 images send to a common presentation (Bozena does)
    4. We create "corners of nature" with gifts of nature. Descriptions of gifts 2 languages: English and national. Eladoing international glossary of 10 - 15 words

    1. Create a "gallery project". In X first artistic work - paint the gifts of nature, the music of Vivaldi's "Seasons" .We put the work in the gallery. Most nice 2 art - photographing and posting on the TwinSpace. Ela doing a joint presentation.
    2. Fill the weather map. Save it to your computer. After finishing the month, give the TwinSpace. In the classroom you can hang another (big).

    November

    • Children answer questions to evaluations carried out by Bozena (images and weather maps). On the top 3 from each country have diplomas (you print them yourself). . Even waiting on weather maps of Greece, Turkey (Sevil) and Warsaw
    • We have a good day - children prepare juices, salads, cocktails (who, what he wants) with local products. We take photos, presentations, videos, ...
      One provision (nicely done), we present materials. Each print out and do the "International cookbook" - the assessment

    • Bozena (Lucy) and Ela (Justin) - (X-XI leaders) show associated with the season (dancing, singing, etc.) and send video TwinSpace. On the other comment next leaders will do the same later.
    • Getting to know the silhouette Vivaldi. Children listen to his music. We collect materials about him:

      Poland - family - Oleśnica, Pogwizdów about the early years, Warsaw Career
      Turkey x 2 metric (date of birth and death, origin, instruments, genres, trivia)
      Moldova and Romania photos of Vivaldi (not only from the Internet, scans of all albums)
      Greece and Lithuania about their music (major works)
       We print all materials -Vivaldi. Next month, we will do lapbook.

    We need addresses of schools and their names. Bozena and Lucyna, Ela and Justin are preparing surprises. Successive leaders will do it later.

    December

    The leaders in December and January are Liuba and Anna:)

    Their schools send letters - surprises to other schools (within 2 months). Their children prepare a performance (a song, a dance, etc.) within 2 months.

    • We create a weather map (1 - 18 december) - In Poland there are vacation until January 2.
    • We include 3 photos of landscape
    • Christmas - New Year's wishes in a variety of forms like photos, short films, presentations, Christmas card... 
    • Work on lapbook of Vivaldi from common materials.(work for 2 months) - instructional video in a folder lapbook
    • Other ideas will be propose Liuba and Anna

    In December, the evaluation for children (quiz, questions, crossword...) is prepared By Liuba or Anna.

    January

    - We end up lapbook by Vivaldi, photo or video we present in the folder
    - Create the weather map in January
    - Create origami instruction for schools to students performed works, photos present in the folder of origami
    I would like to each school presented an artwork origami in Word, so that other schools can print the guide and create their own works. I encourage you to creative work :) Please, providing instructions to the end of the month. I wish the students every school chosen and the work done by one or more instructions. 1 photograph - this work has been placed in the folder of origami.

    1. Spring shows (Alina and Oxana will perform a spring song in native language or a spring dance.)

    3. Glogster interactive poster - or something else (All the partners will enter the highest, the lowest temperature, 3 pictures of landscapes...)

    In February in Poland are holidays - 2 weeks. From 1.02 holidays is Anna and Ela, from 15.02 Pogwizdów.
    I suggest actions:
    February or in March Romania and Moldova - leaders -Show (song, dance in their native language)
    February or in March Romania and Moldova- leaders - a letter of surprises 

    All:

    -There glogster interactive poster enter the highest, lowest temperature, 3 pictures of landscapes, one day school our students (photos, videos ...)

    -artwork springtime (the project is a "season") painted with paints with large(big) form.

    March

    1. Weather map.
    2. Photos of  the environs (the nearest environment).
    3. Photos of the children (photo report) for example from the walk or excursion in to the nature in order to find spring.
    4. Describing if in the countries that take part in the project there is a kind of holiday called “The first day of spring”. If yes, when it is and what kind of traditions are connected with celebrating it.
    5. At the end of month March preparing one page of the presentation (as a summary) entitled: “Curiosities of March”.

    On the grounds of the weather map, taken photos and the description of traditions and customs connected with the first day of spring, a common presentation will be created, entitled “Curiosities of March”. At the end of the month, in the “March” folder, an empty presentation will be placed. There will be as many pages as there are schools in the project. Pogwizdów will prepare an example of one page and you will be able to follow this example and insert your curiosities. You will have to download the page from the folder that is prepared for you and prepare the card of the presentation.

    Sevil not do bookmarks. We leave it. Lithuania will send to Romania.

    May

    • Fashion Week connected with the seasons. We use there elements created by children, ex. wreaths made of flowers to put on your head. We take photos out of it and Necla (I suppose) will prepare a presentation with the division into countries and schools.
    • A  huge art work – Four seasons done  with the scrapbook technique. Four big sized charts.
    • Glossary summer holiday
    • Common song about the four seasons.
      The text of the verses in the vernacular, and the text of the chorus in English.

    My dear,
    for a summary of the project, we have a song about the seasons of the year. I propose now to write lyrics to the tune of Beatles "Yellow Submarine". We will record the melody - as redeem license (I will send you the music).
    The words we write the verses in their native language and English together in chorus.
    I suggest a pair of stanzas:
    1. Sokołowice (Ela) and Romania (Alina) - Spring
    2. Greece (Liza) and Lithuania (Liuba) - Summer
    3. Warsaw (Ania) and Turkey (Necla) - Autumn
    4.  Moldova (Oxana) and Pogwizdów (Lucy)  - Winter

      Each school half of the verse - must work together to make it continuous. Preferably in English to write what is your part of the verse.
    Chorus coordinates English teacher Justyna Sokołowice. Chorus best overall about the world, our countries and the four seasons of the year :)
    Can we use here pictures of the "Fashion Week"?
    I'll get together with Lucyna joint presentation as I will record a song.
