Summary

  • The sum-up:

The project partners  prepared, according to the project assumptions , a website with the presentations of their own  countries’ legends. In the materials they uploaded the texts of the legends in English, and then they made the presentations (in different applications) introducing the legends’ contents. Thanks to that task the pupils got to know the legends of the countries taking part in the project and new ( to them) presentation applications ( kizoa, emaze), which they had used.  In the course of the project the students provided presentations on their schools and hometowns -  as postcards – and posted them on the subpage. In the materials they uploaded lots of different information about themselves, and introduced themselves on TwinSpace subpage, using voice application voki (http://mogur.cba.pl/voki_llta.html,  which can be accessed on “The teachers and students exchange short information about themselves”).

During Christmastime the students exchanged “Christmas wishes” emails – general wishes were posted on TwinSpace.

We also shared other events (not connected with the project topic) such as: the  Internet Safe Day, The International Board Games Day, Celebrate Diversity.

Facebook was a very useful tool of communication. As the project conclusion the students from Alwernia prepared presentations of the Armenian and Turkish legends, which are uploaded on the project website.

The most exciting part of the project was the live online meeting with the School from Armenia.

The students had an opportunity to meet their peers „face to face”.

It’s a pity the Turkish team didn’t manage to join in, but next time should be better.

Not only did the project participation increase the students’ motivation, but also their language and ICT abilities. They enjoyed their freedom and flexibility in the project very much.
