I love Citizen Science. It's a good chance to actively contribute to changes in our society thanks to observation, information and collaborative scientific work. Usually, you only need to download an app onto your smartphone and to gather some information about the topic.

Some students and teachers have participated in different Citizen Sciences projects such as : "Atrapa al Tigre" (Catch the Tiger) to detect the tiger mosquitoes in our surroundings along with the CSIC of Blanes; "riu.net" to assess the ecological quality of rivers in a simple and fun way (along with the UB).

The last app that we have used is "Record the earth" to record the different sounds in our village, in our home, in our high school... We can exchange the differents sounds in our envinronment and your envinronment. We are doing this activity because in Catalonia we are currently celebrating "The Week without Noise". I'm preparing a page to exchange sounds with pictures. Do you like the idea?

I told you about the app to take care of your city and to keep all places clean, its name is sensicity, at the moment it's only in Spanish.

We would also like to collaborate with the seawatchers to get involved in marine research, we are only 2 km aaway from the Mediterranean Sea.

And the last app is natusesfera to explore the nearby nature and learn about nature!!!
