    PROJECT:

    MY SPECIAL DIGITAL STORY SERİAL ( BENİM ÖZEL DİJİTAL HİKAYE SERİM )
    DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT:
    Teaching self-care skills in individuals with intellectual disabilities or autism is very important in
    terms of preparing students for life, being an independent individual in all aspects,
    self-sufficiency, gaining self-confidence and facilitating social acceptance. Apart from the
    methods and techniques used to gain self-care skills, materials are needed to accelerate
    teaching.These materials can be educational songs, picture cards or video model digital stories.
    Digital video model stories; It is a model for all steps of the skill to be done correctly, improves
    the listening skill of the individual, and provides preliminary information to the individual before
    or during the teaching of the skill.In order to support the self-care skills of individuals, to develop
    self-confidence, to prepare the individual for life, to train a self-sufficient independent individual,
    to make receptive and expressive skills, effective listening, to contribute to social acceptance;
    According to the performance of individuals each month for seven months,digital video model
    stories are prepared, presentation of the story and effective participation of the student and
    serialization of the stories are planned.
    OBJECTIVES OF THE PROJECT:
    The objectives of this project;
    ● Develop independent living skills,
    ● To prepare the individual for life,
    ● Support self-care skills,
    ● İmprove their self-confidence,
    ● To support the achievement of social acceptance,
    ● To develop receptive and expressive language skills,
    ● To motivate the student for skill gains,
    ● İmprove listening skills,
    ● İncrease their concentration,
    ● To be a model for all steps of the skills.
    WORKING PROCESS:
    1. PREPARATION PROCESS
    Joint search (use of E Twinning desktop joint search forums), idea development, joint
    project planning, project creation, project registration, project acceptance by National
    Agencies .
    2. APPLICATION PROCESS
    A) MONTHLY EVENTS
    The skills to be used in the digital stories that will be prepared for each participating school for 7
    months will be planned according to the performance level of the students.For the determined
    skills, simple digital stories will be written and video will be taken.(Stories should include all of
    the skill levels.)Digital stories will be presented and effective participation of students will be
    ensured.At the end of the project digital stories will be serialized.
    MONTHS THİNGS TO DO
    December - İdentifying students performance and selecting skills. Writing the first
    Hand washing skill digital story/ Application, video shooting, presentation.
    January - Wearing jacket
    digital story of skill / Application, video shooting, presentation.
    February - Digital story of the ability to brush teeth/Application, video shooting, presentation.
    Serialization of stories.
    EXPECTED RESULTS:
    ● The students of all participating schools develop independent living skills.
    ● İndividuals are prepared for life by gaining self-care skills.
    ● İndividuals have improved self-care skills.
    ● Self-care skills are provided in individuals who develop self-confidence.
    ● Social acceptance increases for individuals who acquire skills.
    ● Participate in skill teaching for a long time by increasing concentration with stories.
    ● Students develop receptive language skills by listening and applying stories.
    ● Students develop expressive language skills by asking questions.
    ● The student's motivation for doing the skill and learning increases.
    ● With stories, students repeat the steps by seeing the correct construction.
