ECO COLLABORATIVE VOCABULARY

Today was a day to learn about the environment and practice English, in order to build the collaborative document “Collaborative vocabulary of ecology” in 3 languages ​​- Portuguese, Slovak and Romanian.
In a very responsible and committed way, students, in small groups, translated from English into Portuguese the meaning of various terms related to the environment (pollution, recycling, species preservation, climate change, ...). Initially the students used only their knowledge of the English language and later completed the task using, very old but very valuable dictionaries, and then also using WEB tools - Google Translate and Linguee. Throughout the activity, explanations were made about terms that the students did not know or knew little about, such as "smog".
