My students, 5th grade, worked on the project "Kandinsky in the math class". They illustrated mathematics tascs. We plan to have an exhibition in the school.

It is difficult to understand the mathematics of movement. We can use art of Van Gogh to understand what it looks like.

Our inspirational is: Maurits Cornelis Escher

    My student Adna Delija work:

Maurits Cornelis Escher, born in June 17, 1898 in Leeuwarden - died March 27, 1972 in Hilversum. He was Dutch graphic artist. He is better known as M.C.Escher, and known for his, mostly math inspired woodcut, inspired maths. He dealt with the painting of impossible structures.

This woodcut print, however, is a realistic depiction of a simple image that portrays two perspectives at once. It depicts an unpaved road with a large pool of water in the middle of it at twilight. Turning the print upside-down and focusing strictly on the reflection in the water, it becomes a depiction of a forest with a full moon overhead. The road is soft and muddy and in it there are two distinctly different sets of tire tracks, two sets of footprints going in opposite directions and two bicycle tracks. Escher has thus captured three elements: the water, sky and earth.

Inspired by MC Escher, my students Adna and Ajla drawing some pictures:
