17 Sustainable Development Goals

United nations provided a shared blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the planet in 2015. At its heart are the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which are an urgent call for action by all countries - developed and developing - in a global partnership. The Sustainable Development Goals are a call for action by all countries – poor, rich and middle-income – to promote prosperity while protecting the planet. They recognize that ending poverty must go hand-in-hand with strategies that build economic growth and address a range of social needs including education, health, social protection, and job opportunities, while tackling climate change and environmental protection. As the future of world, we need tomorrow’s leaders and citizens to be educated about the challenges. Also SDGs are a great tool to introduce students to local and global issues. With this Project, it is aimed to empower the students to take action and learn about SDGs and as Young people are idealistic, Young people are creative, Young people are in big numbers, they have an incredible potential to be the driver of the change the world’s needs to achieve every single sustainable development goals.
