Our partnership is based on a long-term cooperation. For this project we decided to deal with the topic of human rights which has become an important issue which everybody is touched by. Our partner schools are spread all over Europe and thus are facing different, but also similar difficulties and challenges. Our countries are multiracial and multicultural. Problems such as xenophobia and intolerance are growing and bringing social unrest all over Europe. Some of the basic human rights are currently more discussed because of increasing terrorism and fear which goes with it. A lot of young people take the human rights for granted and they do not realize how easily they can be weakened or even lost. We believe this could be prevented by creating higher awareness and education about our and everybody's rights. In the project we will also see human rights connected to the right for a clean environment and sustainable climate.
