In 1869 Dmitri Mendeleev discovered the periodic properties of chemical elements and introduced the Periodic Table, one of the most significant achievements in science. United Nations General Assembly and UNESCO proclaimed 2019 the “International Year of the Periodic Table of Chemical Elements” (IYPT2019 - https://www.iypt2019.org/). Allowing students to learn the chemistry of elements in an enjoyable way and make stick in their minds fundamental chemical concepts, are the main objectives of this project. Pupils will have to understand the main facts of chemical elements in order to plan and create games, comics, and applications for smartphones about the periodic table.
