The questions of the French team to spanish team. (CEIP FRANCISCO GINER DE LOS RIOS)

We have 3 questions

Do not have a rugby ball? Is rugby so unknown in Spain?
Do you also have a sports field with grass?
Why are there only girls?

Spanish answer:

We have only one rugby ball (official size and material). We bought another ones, more little, made of soft plastic to adapt the games to the litlle students of our school. 

As you ask in your question , we dont have any sports field with grass at school or nearby. The weather here is too hot and grass is not very popular at school 

Also rugby is not a very common sport in our country althought we have a good national team in our city (CAU). This was the reason to attach the school to this project, to let our students know some tips about it.

And finally, we decided to send you the video with only girls to empower them. At school we have a programme to encourage girls through reading books of brave female heroines, to make some tasks that are supposed to boys only...etc.

We have several questions: is your uniform obligatory? Why do many of your students come from the Philippines? One of your students is in French: she speaks very well !!

Thanks! In the Canary Islands, public schools usually wear uniform (tracksuit). The majority of our students are from other countries (Philippines, Morocco, China, ..) There are 6 students from the Philippines. The girl who speaks French is from Morocco and asked me to say it in French after watching your video.
