Due to the Covid outbreak in March 2020, we had to postpone the exchange visits.
We have continued working on the project on the eTwinning platform trying to adapt activities to the new situation. Since then we have had two online workshops with local musicians in which both students at Narcis Oller and students of the partner school have participated. Two more workshops are going to be held soon with a Scottish musician and Mariona Escoda, former student of Narcis Oller.
These workshops allow Catalan and Swedish students to interact with musicians and among themselves in English.
During the confinement in 2020 we had a project meeting with all students and encouraged them to meet on their own in groups to work on the edition of a music video singing together “All you need is love” by the Beatles.
WE WERE HOPING TO MEET OUR FRIENDS THIS SPRING,
WE WERE GOING TO WRITE SONGS TOGETHER,
AND THEN PERFORM THEM IN SWEDEN AND CATALONIA.
UNFORTUNATELY, WE WERE NOT ABLE TO TRAVEL AND THEREFORE WE COULD NOT MEET IN SPRING.
iNSTEAD OF JUST GIVING UP, OUR TEACHERS ASSIGNED US THIS PROJECT.
WITH THIS VIDEO WE WANT TO SPREAD HOPE, LOVE AND POSITIVITY DESPITE THE CURRENT CIRCUMSTANCES!
