2.4. bis 9.4.2022 Lehrer*innenfortbildung in Lagoa, Portugal. Digitale Medien in interkulturellen Projekten – Management und Vernetzung

Die Fortbildung hat einerseits neue Erkenntnisse bezüglich digitaler Medien gebracht, andererseits wurden die Teilnehmer*innen über Triple-E informiert und das dort beliebte Tool Pixton vorgestellt, das im Seminar gleich zum Einsatz kam.

Vom 02/12 - 07/12/19 nehmen beide Projektleiterinnen aus La Réunion und Österreich an einer Weiterbildung in Palermo teil.

Diese Weiterbildung dient auch als Projekttreffen. 

Der Kurs "ICT skills for Educators" versetzt die Teilnehmer in die Lage, ihre Lehrmethoden mit Hilfe spezifischer IKT-Tools wie Smart Boards, Webkonferenzen und Webinare zu verbessern und so ein "lernerzentriertes" Klassenzimmer zu schaffen.

 Hacking hate 

 How to empower young people to understand and disrupt online hate 

Online hate speech is a growing problem. Parents, teachers and everyone educating young people must be aware of the negative effects online hate can have on individuals, groups and society in general. This course helps you to better understand the phenomenon of online hate and will cover different ways to make your students more resilient. Throughout the course the concept of Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) is used and demonstrated as a way of empowering young people to disrupt online hate.

The course contains reflection and discussion activities, but also many ideas and activities for classroom practice and for usage in a broader community. The content of the MOOC is heavily based on the SELMA Toolkit.

 Learning objectives 

• Understand the approach of Social and Emotional Learning as a way to prevent and tackle online hate.
• Learn how to create a personal digital portfolio to curate interesting course materials and contributions of other participants.
• Develop sustainable strategies to effect widespread positive change around online hate speech.
• Learn about the SELMA Toolkit and other ways to be involved in the SELMA project.
• Learn how to use the resources of the SELMA Toolkit to create a successful peer-led programme.
