STEM MEETS FOOD FACTORY

The idea of this project came out four month ago, as a result of future classroom lab course "Enhancing STEM practise and strategy in secondary schools". eTWinners learn how to use STEM resources in our project using problem-based learning and a cross-curricular approach. The students combine the STEM subjects with the subjects cooking and Food Technology. This summer, too, we have suffered from the effects of global warming. It´s time to act and to reduce our carbon footprint on the planet by changing our consumption and by choosing local, seasonal and organic food for cooking. These main goals of this project are to educate students to sustainable development, to foster their critical thinking and their environmental awareness, to promote a sustainable way of producing and consuming.
