    About the project

    STEM education aims to raise a generation that asks questions, researches, produces and makes new discoveries from kindergarten to university by eliminating the distinction between the disciplines of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics, creating a full integration between these disciplines in harmony. With STEM education approach, students' creative thinking, critical thinking and problem solving skills are developed in the field of production and invention. When they enter the business world, it is aimed that they can easily adapt to the qualities desired by the business life thanks to their project skills.
    It can be said that STEM education is one of the most important educational approaches of today because it directs science and technology production and engineering, provides students with an interdisciplinary perspective and enables students to realize their projects concretely.

    AIMS

    1. Explain the importance of teamwork, leadership, gathering, honesty, ethical working habits and organizational structures.
    2. Takes part in a graduation project.
    3. Shares thoughts, questions, ideas and solutions.
    4. Collaborates with group friends to achieve a goal.
    5. He / she approaches problems from a new perspective.
    6. Attempts new approaches to innovation and invention, designs new products

    WORK PROCESS

    The project will start in September and end in June. The invitation of the project partners, the promotion of partners, schools and cities, preparation of posters and logos, creation of account groups for facebook and communication will take place in September. A work schedule will be organized in order to organize an event every month. Activities will be organized in an easy and simple way. Activities will be carried out in cooperation with other schools. For each school event, student groups will be created with their students and school students. The groups, blogs, materials and facebook will be shared in closed groups. The work will be recorded with photographs, videos, presentations and made using Web 2.0 tools. Contact information will be taken and video conferences will be organized between common schools. The project will be implemented and completed in accordance with ethical rules and in cooperation.
