SEPTEMBER
Students will introduce themselves, their hometown, school and their country, till 26th September. They will prepare simple powerpoint presentations (including their photo, name, age, origin, nationality) and post them on TwinSpace.
Till then they will also create a poster with all partner schools. Actually a map, where they will mark every partner country and its capital.
In December when they receive Christmas cards they will stick them on that map. So also other students , teachers and parents can follow the idea of the project. It would be great if that map was somewhere on the wall in the school hall or a class.
OCTOBER
Till the end of October ( 26th) they will describe how they celebrate Christmas in their country/ city /school/ or family-they can choose.
NOVEMBER
In November they will talk about their favourite Christmas dish. Each school sends one recipe for the e-cookbook.
They will make a poster, make photos of it and post that on Twinspace.
Every school will sing the first stanza of Jingle Bells song, in their own language and in English, too. Singing will be recorded and they will edit videos on Twinspace.
They will make their own Christmas cards or the cards can also be bought. They will write Christmas greetings in their own language and also in English. Each partner school has to receive a Christmas card from every partner school. So, if there are 13 partner schools, we have to collect 12 cards altogether.
DECEMBER
At the beginning of December they will start sending Christmas cards to their partner schools. The cards have to arrive till 10th of December so that they can be sticked on the map before Christmas and following holidays.
JANUARY
In January we will evaluate our work.
