Water and Arts - Zaragoza (Spain)

  • We started thinking about a Spanish artist related to water and we found Joaquín Sorolla because he loved representing the sea in his paintings.

    Then we observed his artwork and find out the colours of Sorolla's sea: not just blue but also purple, grey, green..., and his characteristic brushstrokes.

    We chose "The little boat" and started to work:

     

    We were really proud of our paintings!

    After that, we cut out them in the shape of a drop, like this:

    And chose the most beautiful ones to be laminated and sent.
