7. Let's come together to protect and save animals!

  • Animals provide balance throughout the biosphere, affecting its dynamic appearance. Animals live in all geographical areas and are found in different natural environments: earth and air, earth, water. Depending on living conditions, their appearance, morphology, level of development are different. But each of the representatives of the animal world is important in its own way.
The importance of animals in nature as a whole is undeniable, but a person without them will not be able to live. First of all, they have always been one of the permanent sources of nutrition.

  • Let's come together to protect and save animals!

We've got an animal school board.

    Cherkasy Collegium "Berehynia", Ukraine

A group of students of Grade 10 A, two Biology teachers of Cherkasy
Collegium “Berehynia” and our student’s father who works at the
department of Natural Sciences of Cherkasy National University
conducted bird watching in our local park "Sosnovy Bir". Under the
guidance of the teachers, the students became acquainted with the
method of accounting for migratory birds. The participants of the
action managed to record 16 species with a total number of more
than six hundred birds. Among them were small hawks, big tits and
other birds. In the park, they also saw a golden-hued yellowfin - the
smallest bird in Ukraine. The residents of Cherkasy, who were
visiting the park at the time, eagerly joined the observation.

    Romanian Mioritic- Mioritic Shepherd Dog
This breed has discipline as one of its main characteristics. It is a calm and well-mannered dog. As this dog was used as a herd protector, it is very attached to family and goes all the way when protecting those it is attached to. Because of this dog's ability to bond strongly with his master, training should only be started once the Mioritic puppy is already accustomed to the owner/trainer.The breed was provisionally recognized by the FCI on July, 6th, 2005 in Buenos Aires. Nowadays it has reached the state of definite recognition.

Its name comes from the Romanian word mioară, which means young sheep.

    Bison
The bison is the heaviest European land animal. A bison has a length of 2.9 - 3 meters and a height of 1.9 meters, weighing from 300 to 920 kg
Bison are on the verge of extinction. Bison live in forests, with very few natural enemies; there are only a few 19th-century accounts of wolf and bear attacks. The bison is a herbivore.Bison live 28 years in captivity, but live less in the wild. They can have chicks aged between 4 and 20 years in females and between 6 and 12 years in males. The bison territory can occupy up to 200 km², and some herds prefer meadows and meadows in the forest.Bison were re-introduced in Romania in 1958, when the first two specimens of animals were brought from Poland and kept in a reservation in Hațeg.

    MY FAVOURITE CAT

Hi! I'm Mike, and she's Psihoula, one of my 8 grandparents' cats.
    It's my favorite. Now 2
years, when my mother and I moved to Romania, at the beginning of December, on a rainy and cold day, my grandmother found an abandoned kitten at the entrance of the block. He was wet and dirty, trembling all over his body and meowing with all his might. Although he already had 7 other cats rescued from the street, he took pity on him and adopted him.
On my next visit, my grandmother asked me to find her a name. I didn't think long and chose a name in Greek: Pshihoula, which means Soul. This is because as soon as he entered the house he became the soul of the whole family. She is the liveliest and most playful of the 8 cats, the friendliest and most caring.
