JANUARY- FEBRUARY
1) Third collaborative book : you receive the invitation to edit the third volume of " The Book of the Four Seasons", ' SPRING', made with StoryJumper.
You can find two tables on the page "Spring" ( 8-11, 12-15 years old).
The tables have three columns ( School starts, school ends, school draws).
You choose a table according to your students' age and write your name in the table. You will be part of an international group of three teachers.
Deadlines:
- a school starts writing the first part of the story and uploads it to StoryJumper by January 20th.
- a school ends the same story and uploads the second part to StoryJumper by February 9th.
- a school draws the story created by the other two schools and uploadsthe drawing to StoryJumper by February 29th.
As we are working in groups, we must meet the deadlines!
The story should have something that recalls spring ( a character, the weather, an animal etc.) and the good feelings, love, peace, serenity which this season inspires in us.
2) Multilingual Video Dictionary on months and seasons: we make a video of our students saying the months and seasons in English and in their own language.
We upload the video to the Twinboard on the page " Multilingual Video Dictionary on months and seasons".
MARCH-APRIL
1) Fourth collaborative book: each school use a picture picked up by a partner school in order to invent the story.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
-You receive the invitation to edit the fourth volume of " The Book of the Four Seasons ", SUMMER.
- Write your name, country and e-mail address in the table on page 7.4
- Choose with your students an image about summer.
- Upload it to the Twinboard on page 7.4, writing your name and country.
- Your students write in English a story inspired by the image uploaded by the partner school that wrote their names next to yours in the table on page 7.4.
- Upload your partner's image ( with his/her name and country), and the story invented by your students to the fourth volume of "The Book of the Four Seasons".
2) We and our students together start to choose a partner's story and we translate it into our language: in May our pupils will read the story aloud and we will make a video for the Multilingual Audiolibrary.
MAY
We will upload to the Twinboard below the videos on which our students are reading one of the partners' story of the collaborative Book in their own language.
We can choose one story from the autumn book or the winter book or the spring book or the summer book, as we like.
On the same video, our students will say months and seasons in a partner's language.
So will have ONE video, with 2 parts:
1) the story (not our own story) in our own language, 2) the months and seasons in a partner's language.
Finally I will upload all the videos to a common Book made with Ourboox.
