Project plan

  • Aims:

    will acquire geographic knowledge of partner countries;

    children will learn the letters;

    children will start reading;

    will search for letters in the surrounding area;

    will create letters from different materials;

    will display letters to partners.

    Work process:

    Each partner will present their city and class.

    Children will get to know the letters by integrating the project into the monthly plan.

    Will do the creative work by looking for letters and creating them in nature from natural materials. Different letter as during two weeks. 

    Create Christmas cards. All  cards mus be handmade. Students should be creative and they can personalize their Christmas Cards with any kind of material or use any kind of technique (drawing, coloring, painting, construction paper, markers, crayons, colored pencils)

    Throughout the process, all partners will share photos and videos in the project journal.

    Will spread the project in their school.

     

    Calendar:

    September 17-20: create a short movie or photo collage about Your town, visiting places and place it in a twinspace space page and project journal.

    September  23-30: create a short movie or photo collage about Your school and class. Place it in a twinspace space page and project journal.

    Until October 31 All project participants should send an email for: jurgutezzz@yahoo.com or place it in page E-mail adresses with the project coordinator name, the school name and their address to which the postcards should be sent. A database will be made and sent to all the participants.

    October 1-11 : create and display at least one letter (You can make more) write 5 words from this letter in Your language and also in english. 

    October 14-25: create and display another letter (You can make more) write 5 words from this letter and pictures in Your language and also in english.

    October 28-November 8: create and display anothere letter (You could make more) write 5 words from this letter in Your language and also in english. 

    November 11-30: create short movie how We spell partners words and place it in a twinspace space page and project journal.

    November 1-30: Students prepare Christmas cards.

    Until 15 December: Sending the handmade Christmas Cards to the partner countries.

    Until 16 January: waiting for the cards.

    January 16-30:  organize an exhibition at school 

    Expected results

    children will acquire geographic knowledge of partner countries; learn the letters; will begin to read; develop creative skills; will experience joy; earn a few English and partners languges words. Will experience joy in creating Christmas greetings. Will reflect their feelings after the end of the project.
