Spotlights on us! aims at raising linguistic and communicative competence but foremost it is to make pupils realise their national-historical, cultural, linguitic, etc. heritage and share it with Europan twins using various ICT tools. The project involves peer to peer work to enhance communicative skills. It is divided into 4 monthly topics: Spotlight on us, Spotlight on my school, Spotlight on my town, Spotlight on my country. Every topic focuses on different aspects of the pupils' everday life, their surrounding, country. Instant messaging motivates them to use English in authentic contexts.
