ÇANKIRI CLOCK TOWER

Today the Clock Tower stands in one of the oldest neighbourhoods of the city. It can be seen from most places in the city because of its high location. Unfortunately, it is not in its best shape due to the rusty frame and broken paint and its bells do not function because they are not used. But still it is appreciated and valued by the citizens of the city because it is seen as the cultural legacy of the Ottoman era.
