Litauen - a Baltic experience
The danish team
We where flying to Riga Latvias capitol because it reduced our traveltime. We had most of the to see Riga wich is a beuatiful city. But the biggest impact from Riga was our visit at the KGB museum. It reminded us how a totalitarian regime works and put the then new russian invasion of Ukraine in another perspective.
The interrogationroom ready for torture
The old execution room with bullit holes in the wall
The first day in Birzai we arrived at the school. A little team of visitors because of the pandemic and the Ukrainian war. But the danes and the north macedonians where in for some very exciting days in Birzai and Lithuania.
The students
And everybody
The welcome cermony and the tour of the school by students. Still with face mask.
The works shops where about healthy living both physically and mental. What to eat, how much to eat and new alternativ protein source (insects). Session with psychologist on how to keep up your selfesteem and of course sports a little olympics and nordic walking. All well conduted and educational.
Of course we had our bit of culture. Birzais famous sinkholes wich where everywhere, Mirzai museum, open air museum and last bust not least Vilnius the capitol.
