PROJECT PLAN

  • Aims

    Create Easter cards for other participating students around the world; Celebrate the Easter; Stimulate students' creativity, imagination; Improve artistic skills; Helping students become global citizens; Studying culture and traditions of otheir countries. Studens will improves their communication, social, cognitive, artistic competences.

     

    Work process

    All Easter cards mus be handmade. Students should be creative and they can personalize their Easter Cards with any kind of material or use any kind of technique (drawing, coloring, painting, construction paper, markers, crayons, colored pencils). Cards must be made by national flag colours. Write a short text about Easter traditions in your country and include holiday greetings!

     

    Calendar:

    March 18-22: create a short movie or photo collage about Your town, visiting places and place it in a twinspace space page and project journal

    March  25-29 create a short movie or photo collage about Your school and class. Place it in a twinspace space page and project journal

    Until march 31 All project participants should send an email for: jurgutezzz@yahoo.com or place it in page E-mail adresses with the project coordinator name, the school name and their address to which the postcards should be sent. A database will be made and sent to all the participants.

    April 1-12: Students prepare Easter cards.

    Until 15 April: Sending the handmade Easter Cards to the partner countries.

    Until 30 April: waiting for the cards.

    May 1-10 organize an exhibition at school and create a collage or movie about the most memorable moments of the project

     

    Expected results:

    children will learn about the traditions of Easter celebrations in other countries, learn a few English words. Will experience joy in creating Easter greetings. Will reflect their feelings after the end of the project.
