Little gazes at great artwork

The re-emergence of numerous eurosceptic political groups as a reaction to the economic recesion , a mass influx of displaced persons , terrorism or the Brexit is causing an important social crisis in the european society. By this reason , to develop the european identity in our students , families and local community through our cultural heritage is the basic motivation for participating in this project. We want all members of our schools communities know and be grounded emotionally in the diversity of our partner´ artistic heritage , they recognize its peculiarity and they develop a multicultural, critical, tolerant and democratic attitude, typical of an advanced society. As reflected in our educational project we want to foster our students ´integral development in order to train citizens who can think critically about the world they live in. And we are sure the best way to do it is exchanging information with our partners in order to increase intercultural awareness and thus prevent educational underachievement. For us to work with other European countries is an added value because it is very important to foster the exchange and appreciation of the European cultural heritage, history and values that we share. We also think our participation in this project is necessary to improve English linguistic skills as well in the communication between students as in the work of other curricular contents : Plastic Arts , Maths, Social Studies, Art, Music. We want to achieve these aims through cooperative learning and the use of new technologies.
