Greetings from sunny Portugal!

It's great to be part of this project! We are two classes of fourth grade students from the small village of Aveiras de Cima! These two classes are composed of seventeen students each of students who have been learning English for the last two years.

Aveiras de Cima is a small village in the municipality of Azambuja, 30 minutes away from the capital city of Lisbon.

Our village has got a beautiful church and an amazing library that once was a primary school! 

We have a nice park and a simple village square where we have two statues that celebrate of vine tradition.

Our village takes vine producing seriously. We are a Village Vine Museum - it's like a living village where tourists can still take part in the old ways of harvesting and producing wine.

Our classes are working hard to show you how beautiful and rich our country is.

We have composed our postcards and giving them their last touches.

We have also started working on our map. We each coloured a map with all the partner countries.
