The Diary - Mobility in Brno 2021, Monday

  • Monday 4. 10. 2021

On Monday, we met at school in the morning to be tested for Covid first and then, we presented our school to the Hungarian students.

We visited the motivating centre, chemical labs, language labs, ICT labs or our school library.

Then, we went to the city centre by tram. All of us had prepared short presentations of the most important sights in English or German and now the time of our presentations was approaching so the nervosity was there again! But we managed it and enjoyed the whole morning together;-)

It was quite demanding since there are a few hills in Brno which you have to climb so we went back to school to have lunch and have a rest for a while. In the afternoon, we visited Villa Stiassni - its history is very complicated (built before WW II by a Jewish family, then the WW II armies occupied it, then it was used as a representative seat and place of accommodation for presidents, foreign politicians and other VIP people). Now, it is a museum, so we had a guided tour in Hungarian and Czech.

Then, we returned to the pension and after the dinner, we spent another evening in the city together.
