December 2018 -January 2019
Ice-breaking activities
- Learners' Profiles: Pupils get to know each other . They use a ready-made drawing/foto/ and add their data in terms of name, age, sex, they complete their profiles on the TwinSpace using Learning apps;
- Overcoming stereotypes/Learning about our partners: Austrian children brainstorm about Greece (Islands, souvlaki, holiday destination) and prepare a collage. So do the Greek children about Austria. (.(tool: postermywall Thing Link) Austrian children check the collage of Austria and put things right by adding or deleting text, icons. So do Greek children.(TwinBoard)
- Singing a children’s song from partner countries’ cultural production
- Online meeting for children to introduce themselves and meet their international partners
February 2019-April 2019: Science experiments 1to 3. Children follow the process outlined in the video by the Science teacher, they collect the material and do it in class. Based on the experiment, children cooperate on the creation of a shared product.
April 2019 Science Festival
On May 9th (eTwinning Day) an online meeting is organized for a cooperative last experiment to be done by Austrian and Greek pupils together online
June 10th 2019 - Project Presentation to parents, teachers and school mates
