CIP: Claddagh Inclusion Project (A KA101 Job Shadowing Project)

twinspace-logo

This is a KA101 project involving seven Irish staff members from our Primary School located in Galway, Ireland. Six of the staff members are engaging in job shadowing visits to schools focused on the topic of inclusion. We consider inclusion to encompass children from diverse backgrounds to include linguistic diversity, learning diversity (SEN) and children for whom the standard curriculum requires modification or differentiation. Some or most of the schools we will visit have socio-economic challenged students such as our own school students face. Our school has recently incorporated new wellness initiatives. One of our staff members travelling has undertaken to begin working with children on these programmes so he will receive training on a short week-long course in this area. Our project planning, implementation, dissemination and impact will be recorded on this TwinSpace.
