Human Impacts @ Coastal Ecosystems

The project is based on the 6 schools partnership which is focused on coastal ecosystems that are threatened by the human presence. The theme of the project is actual and promotes the importance and motivation of students in teaching-learning process of STEM subjects. It is an interactive way to teach students to make charts, data analysis, data presentation, research, drawing conclusions. Students study the impact of human activity on different marine regions ( the Atlantic Ocean, Baltic, Black Sea and the Mediterranean). The results of the studies are interpret according to the socio-economic context of each region. The sustainable goal is for our students to adopt a positive attitude towards environmental issues , to learn about different cultures and acquire knowledge (in natural sciences and ITC) and skills such as (linguistic, social and organizational) .
