MEDE (Museum Education in a Digital Era) is a two year Erasmus+ KA229 project approved in 2018. It is a project devoted to cultural heritage and museums making use of digital, artistic and craft techniques. The project will enable a number of students and the working staff to travel, to meet different cultures, to exchange experiences and knowledge and to cooperate in order to produce concrete results. The project involves five European countries (Greece, Portugal, Lithuania, Romania and Hungary) and includes museum visits, pre-during-after the museum visits activities which prepare & activate the students throughout the visit, old photos' revival, production of a museum kit, creation of a common digital museum and creation of a museum corner in every school. The theme of the museum corner will be the History of Education in every country. MEDE also includes one short-term joint staff training event in Greece and four short-term exchanges of groups of pupils in the other countries.
