A group of students carried out a research on traditional Christmas Roman cake - the Roman Pangiallo ( Pangiallo means 'Yellow bread')- dating back to the Emperial Rome.It was prepared during the celebration of the winter solstice to invoke the return of the Sun.Its main ingredients are dried fruids, honey and candied citron.
