    On April 14, as part of the school cooperation network run by the Warsaw Center for Educational and Social Innovation and Training WCIES, two teachers of our school, conducted a workshop for teachers of Warsaw schools "Using etwinning in the core curriculum". During the training, they shared their knowledge of working on the etwinning platform with various international projects Erasmus plus. They shared the etwinning project site of a current Erasmus project "Biulding a better future"" thanks to which they were able to present many examples of an interesting usage of the etwinning platform especially those engaging students.

    WERS Contest

    Created by our school language and poeatry contest WERS is connected with our project "Building a better fututure" due to its goals of motivating students to learn languages as well as finding inovative ways of teaching. The final ceremony of this years edition of the contest was held on the 13th of April.

    Erasmus Days 2020

    In order to spread the idea of ​​Erasmus, we again decided to take part in Erasmus Days. This time the event took place entirely online. Students involved in Erasmus plus projects prepared quizzes introducing our partner countries and in short Instagram stories explained what Erasmus means to them. It was very insipring.

    European Day of Foreign Languages

    On September 23rd in cooperation with the Warsaw Center for Educational
    and Social Innovation and Training, a model lesson for teachers
    from Warsaw schools was held as part of interdisciplinary training, during which we shared our experiences in bilingual teaching.
    The scenario of the math lesson "Immigration in statistics - bar and pie charts" conducted in class 7d was created as part of the Erasmus plus project "Building a better future".

    FINAL CEREMONY OF THE WERS LANGUAGE CONTEST

    Poetry and drama contest WERS - Common Europe on Stage for schools in Warsaw area was organised by Polish school for the first time in order to promote language teaching and communications skills in students. It wasn't a planned earlier project activity but it was inspired by the project objectives (new methods of teaching). What is more, we decided to use it as great means of informing local school about the project. 
    The contest had two separate categories - poetry and drama. In poetry students in two age groups prepared a poem in one of three possible languages -  German, French and Spanish. In drama category students had to write and then show a 10 minute play in English. The contest was a great success with more than 10 schools participating. 
    The final ceremony to which headmasters of participating schools as well as local authorities were invited took place on the 28th of March. During the ceremony the project was presented in detail as well as pictures and reportage from the mobility in Italy were displayed.

    OPEN DAY FOR CANDIDATES

    Apart from regular informing of school body about project activity, students in the Erasmus club took an active part in the Open Day for the candidates to our school. They prepared a presentation about the outcomes of the Erasmus project and shared their experiences. They showed pictures and described the activities that took place during and between mobilities to parents and children that are planning to come to our school next year.

    European Erasmus Days 2019

    Polish school took part in the European Erasmus Days 2019 celebrations. On October 11 the "Let's meet" competition took place, in which we checked students' knowledge of our past and present partner countries in Erasmus projects, i.e. knowledge of countries such as the Czech Republic, Slovenia, Italy, Austria, France and Finland .
    STAGE 1 - ELIMINATIONS
    During first three breaks students belonging to the Erasmus club gave out questions
    Stundets with the most correct answers passed to the 2nd stage, which took place during the first lunch break in the gym.
    STAGE 2 - MILLIONAIRE COMPETITION 
    Students had to answer oral questions asked by the leaders from the Erasmus team. Winners received prizes that were funded by contacted ebmassies of our partner countries e.g. Slovenia.
    During the whole day students form Erasmus team presented information about the project as well as an exhibition of posters from the quiz "What do you know about our partner countires" was organised.
