The Goblin of Tisza-parti
It was a normal Monday. The week had just begun and the students were arriving at school. The kids of class 8-B were late as usual. But today, something was different; an evil creature was lurking in the dark hallways.
First class was English. Léna and Bori walked in last; everyone was already in the room. Well, everyone except their teacher, Ms. Hajdú. It was strange, since she’s never late and she’s rarely ever ill. Virág and Rebeka were also missing.
„Are those footprints on the floor?” Peti said, pointing at the muddy marks by his feet.
„And is that blood in them!?” Kamilla shouted.
Rucz Barnabás got on all fours and licked the marks.
„Yeah, it’s definitely blood” he said.
„She might be in trouble, we got to find her!” Jakusch Tamás exclaimed.
„He’s right, we have to save her! She was abducted. Kothencz Laura said.
„Oh no! If we don’t find her, we might not get homework!” Ádám said, looking worried.
So they started searching for Ms. Hajdú. They followed the footprints, but they led into a vent.
„This is really weird” Szalontai Tamás said.
„We have to go in” Ábel shouted and he opened the vent.
„No way, I’m not going in there!” Maja screamed.
„Oh, come on! This seems fun” Dóri said, climbing in and pulling Maja with her.
They all crawled in the vents and eventually reached a dark, damp room.
„I didn’t know the school had a basement” Liza said as she looked around.
Suddenly, she shrieked, alarming the others.
„Is that Rebeka?” Bori said calmly, pointing at Rebeka’s strangled, lifeless body hanging from the ceiling.
„That rope looks really moldy” Léna said, uninterested.
„This is a nightmare! I will kill whoever did this to her!” Dóri cried. She started running through the dark corridors, searching for the killer. The others ran after her.
They reached a small room, and froze; it was Ms. Hajdú, tied to a chair!
„Killer, come out! We rounded you, give up!” Peti shouted.
An ugly goblin stepped in the room.
„Is that... the janitor!?” Boga said, surprised.
„I didn’t kill that girl! I’m no killer, I just wanted to steal this teacher’s wallet!” The ugly creature shouted, putting her hands up.
„But if you’re not the killer, then who murdered Rebeka?” Maja asked, on the brink of tears.
„I did” a familiar voice said.
A small silhouette appeared in the corner.
„Virág, i-is that you!?” Kothencz Laura said, extremely disturbed.
The short person stepped under a dim light, revealing their face... it really was Virág!
„We finally caught you now!” Bori and Léna shouted, pulling out guns and their FBI badges.
„You’re FBI agents!?” Peti asked, surprised.
„Yes, we are. And she is a wanted serial killer” Bori said, pointing her gun at Virág.
„We have been after her for 8 years now” Léna said.
„Sorry, but not this time” Virág said as she pulled out a remote. She pressed a button and suddenly, the room was filled with poisonous gas. She put on a gas mask.
Everyone was on the brink of fainting, except Virág and the goblin janitor.
„You framed me! I will never forgive you!” The janitor shouted, punching Virág. She fell on the floor and the goblin turned off the gas.
Léna and Bori woke up and arrested Virág.
„Thanks for that. We finally caught this extremely dangerous criminal” Léna thanked the goblin.
„You’re arrested as well, though” she continued. „You’re a thief and a kidnapper too” she said, as she arrested the goblin.
„Damn you, dirty humans!” the janitor said. „You will pay for this!”
Ádám rushed to Ms. Hajdú.
„Are you okay, ma’am? He asked, untying her.
Ms. Hajdú woke up. She was disoriented.
„Where am I? Who am I???” She asked, confused. She was brainwashed!
In the end, class 8-B never had an English lesson ever again, because Ms. Hajdú forgot how to speak English.

Together
After class, on Friday, students from class 7 decided to go get some ice cream at the Spa in Goczalkowice Zdroj, as it was beautiful outside. They planned to meet, on their bikes, at the train station in Zabrzeg, at 4 PM. When they got there, they realized that only Monika, Ania, Natalia, Weronika T, Norbert, Franek, Daniel S, and Mariusz M showed up:
“Do you all have enough money for ice cream?” asked Weronika
“Of course, I can also help someone out, if needed,” exclaimed Franek.
They began their journey. They got there fast, as it was a beautiful, sunny day. They ordered large portions of ice cream, and sat around the table under a giant, green umbrella.
“Delicious!” Daniel said while licking his face.
When they finished, they noticed that the sky got darker, and a strong wind picked up. The girls panicked:
“Let’s quickly go back home,” exclaimed Monika, “maybe we can avoid the storm!”
Monika and Weronika got on their bikes, but Norbert shouted behind them:
“Come back! We need to wait out the rain!”
The girls stopped, as the storm started. It was scary, and the girls started crying. Natalia exclaimed:
“I don’t want the lightining to kill me!”
They were in a bad situation. After another thunder clap, Mariusz exclaimed:
“Follow me, everone! We will hide in the cave, next to the forest!”
The girls hurried, and were first to enter the cave. It was dark and tight in there.
“It’s cold here,” complained Monika. Daniel shivered in fear, but he consoled her:
“This will end soon, Monika, we will make it!”
The weather did not get better. All of a sudden, they heard a loud thud.
The girls screamed, and everyone shut their eyes out of fear. Suddenly, Norbert felt debris fall on his head. He opened his eyes nervously. It turned out that a giant oak tree fell on the cave, as it was brought down by the wind. The exit to the cave was blocked. Ania, with tears in her eyes, looks down at her leg, which was crushed by a branch of the tree. The wound looked terrible, and Weronica almost fainted at the sight of it. Quickly, Norbert decided that they needed to go back home, as Ania needed a doctor.
However, the weather was still bad. The boys quickly decided that they need to get help. Ania was losing consciousness from the pain.
Natalia, Weronika, and Monika took their hair ties and made a tourniquet on Ania’s leg.
“Hang on, Ania!” Monika pleaded.
“I’m calling for help!” said Franek, and called the help line. The ambulance came quickly. The fire department also came, as they had to remove the tree, which was blocking the cave exit. It took them quite a while to remove the tree.
“I’m hungry,” Mariusz whined.
“Me too; however, Ania has it the worst,” Franek pointed out.
At last, the weather cleared up. After two hours, the ambulance took scared Ania to the hospital. It turned out that her leg was broken and needed an operation.
The rest of the group went to the hospital for physical exams to check to see if everything was okay. They quickly returned home, as everyone else was fine.
The next day, the class, along with the teacher, came to visit Ania at the hospital. It turned out that, on the day of the storm, the wind brought down 100 trees.
Ania healed quickly. The class visited her often, at home, and told her funny stories that happened at school. The entire bike group agreed that they work well together, as this situation was much easier with them working as a team.

The Adventure with Mathematics
Jan was really exhausted after several hours of playing PC game – Outlast. He quickly fell asleep…
…He is running throught the school corridor. As he was running he met Simona.
„What are you doing here?“ she said.
„Aaaaa…! I do not know!“ he shouted.
Meanwhile…
Marek, Josef and Zdeněk were walking along the corridor and they saw Jan.
„What is he doing?“ frightened Marek said.
„He is running out“, Zdeněk said.
„But where?“ Josef said.
They stopped him. „Where are you running?“
„I am trying to get to safe place“ he answered. „Please, help me! We have to escape from the school.“
„Why?“ , they asked him frightened.
„Václav is obessed by the bad demon!“ Jan said.
„What? OMG!“ they shouted.
„Where are the others?“ Marek asked.
„We have to find them and rescue!“ Josef shouted.
They were running downstairs and they saw Antonin. He was bounded with ropes on the floor.
Josef asked: „What was happened?“ and he put off the scarf from Antonin’s mouth.
„Thank you!“ he said, „Václav took girls and hid them away.“
„Quick! Let’s find them“! Jan shouted.
They ran back to school and looked for the girls.
After a while…
Suddenly they heard a scream so they followed the voice. They got to the Mathemathic’s cabinet. There were locked girls: Eliška, Denisa, Aneta and Martina.
Zdeněk: „What are you doing there?“
Behind the door: „Václav locked us here! Help!“ „We can not use our magic attributes.“
Zdeněk used his magic attribute and he broke down the door with his finger.
Girls: „Thank you! And now quickly away!“
They turned back and there was Václav.
Martina: „Oh no! He is here!“
Denisa: „Come on. Let’s defeat him!“
Aneta flow up and started to throw rulers from the cabinet against Václav.
Aneta: „Maths is his biggest weakness!“
Eliška: „That’s true!“ „Let’s use the mathematics objects!“
Josef: „Good idea!“ and he started to throw equations from his exercise books.
Václav was frightened and he made the stone soldiers.
Marek: „I will use Thor’s hammer as my magic hammer.“
And the army was destroyed.
Denča: „Wait! I know the magic formula: π x r2!“
Suddenly everyone was strucked by the big light.
Václav: „What was happend?“ he asked confusedly.
Martina: „That was a bad spirit but now you are rescued.“
The sound of alarm…
Jan was waking up. He looked at the clock and it was 7:30 in the morning. He had to hurry up to school 😊
