Impact on our school curriculum

  • Project curricular objectives:

    1. Identify the importance of cooperation and international trade for the achievement of economic development.

    2. Identify European integration processes, their characteristics and importance.

    3. Understand and value the relevance of the economic, equitable and ecological dimensions of sustainable development.

    4. Reflect on the impact of economic activity on the environment.

    5. Learn and compare the adopted measures in relation to the reduction of CO2 emissions by the governments of the countries participating in the project.

    Contribution of the project to the acquisition of key competences:

    Linguistic communication: knowledge of the economic terminology present in the media and in different types of documents, and knowledge of scientific terminology of an economic nature that facilitates further training. Oral and written communication for general and specific purposes.

    Mathematical competence and basic competences in science and technology: study of simple statistical data to understand economic phenomena, solving basic problems to deepen in the relationships between resources and needs of daily life.

    Digital competence: adequate access to different types of data, presenting them in various formats, personal exposure of the results, and communication among the students participating in the project.

    Learning to learn: self-learning of the different concepts and cooperation agreements through the guided search of information and location of relevant information on government pages for future student needs.

    Social and civic competences: critical analysis of the economic dimension of social reality for the exercise of active, transformative and responsible citizenship. Deepen into the sense of an European community.

    Sense of initiative and entrepreneurial spirit: evaluation of decision-making processes when facing specific problems, reflection on the connections between the individual and the social and the importance of financial decisions to achieve the viability of social institutions .

    Conscience and cultural expressions: recognition of one's own culture and knowledge of the culture of another country, proposal of creative and innovative solutions to daily economic or social problems, recognition of the importance of artistic manifestations and innovation for development Social.
