Designing a Radar

  • During the weeks before Christmas holidays, the students from Spain were designing a small Radar composed by different pieces previously drawed in three dimensions to make possible to obtain them in a 3D printer.

    The components of the Radar are an ultrasound sensor, a servomotor and the Arduino board, and they were well mesured in order to be included inside the pieces.

    By using the Serial port of the board we can read the distances of the objects or obstacles that we put in front of the sensor on the screen of the computer, measuring in centimeters with a very good accuracy, as we explain in this image:
