September - end of the project: The teachers' assignments
--> The two teachers are constantly in contact via e-mail to organize the project, discuss the different steps and aims and create the necessary pages, forums and folders on the Twinspace.
--> The two teachers upload (TOOL: Linoit) and compare their classes' timetables in order to arrange a videoconference for the students (TOOL: Twinspace).
October: Getting to know each other
--> The French and German students introduce themselves.

November: Logo contest
--> In nine binational groups the students create and discuss logos for our project and then all participants vote for the one they like best.

December: Our schools and our towns
--> The students prepare presentations (videos or posters) of their schools and towns.

Christmas: Christmas surprise
--> Every student gets a partner from the other class and prepares a Christmas card with wishes and information about how Christmas is celebrated in the respective country/family.
--> Schedule: Preparation of the cards in November; mailing everything at the beginning of December

January: Online quiz
--> The students create online quizzes about their countries which are going to be solved by the partner class.

February: Teen magazine
--> The students suggest topics for the teen magazine and vote for their favourites.
--> The students form binational groups and choose the topic they want to work on.

March: Teen magazine
--> The students do research on their topics, write the articles and provide photos.

April - May: Teen magazine
--> The teachers correct the articles and check the magazine's layout.

May - June: Advertising and evaluation
--> The online magazine is promoted at school (e.g. on the school's homepage) and, if possible, in a local newspaper.
--> The students and teachers evaluate the project.
