For those who coud not have a direct flight to Strasbourg, there's two possibilities :

Land in Paris (Orly or Roissy - Charles de Gaulle) or in Bâle-Mulhouse, Euro-airport.

    1. If you land in Paris, you have two possibilities to join Strasbourg :

    • By bus, with the Ouibus company. Here are the web pages of the company in English, Español, Italiano
    • By train, from Roissy - Charles de Gaulle Airport to Strasbourg or from Paris Est station to Strasbourg if you land in Orly. This is the trip's details to go from Orly to Gare de l'Est ; but in my opinion, it's better to leave the subway at "Gare du Nord" and walk for 5 minutes to join "Gare de l'Est". If you come by train, please read the special fares for groups or students.

    2. If you land in Bâle-Mulhouse, it's far easier :

    • Take the Shuttle from the airport (just at the entrance, line 11) to the Saint-Louis train station. This is the time schedule
    • Then take the train from Saint-Louis to Strasbourg ; it's direct, one hour and a half.

    3. If you're lucky enough to land in Strasbourg :

    • There's a direct train from Strasbourg - Entzheim airport to Strasbourg train station. Easiest thing to do...

    4. Once in Strasbourg:

    • to go to the European School: take the tramway, line C, just on the left outside the train station. Leave the tram at "Republique" station and change to line E, direction "Robertsau Boecklin" (1 minute walk, just in front of the theatre). Leave at the terminus station, the school is two minutes walk from there. You can take a tram ticket at the station, but take a one-way ticket: the city of Strasbourg will provide them during the meetings.
    • If you booked at Hotel Esplanade, take the tramway, line E, direction "Robertsau Boecklin", at the station "Observatoire".
