"Bull's Eye Bullying". Effective Communication for Mediation

twinspace-logo

Our project arises from the need we detected in the four secondary schools on the priority of fighting against discrimination, bullying and violence. We share the same needs around the fight against Bullying in the classrooms and we think it is very convenient to resolve this reality by going to peer mediation as a way to solve conflicts. In addition, we consider granting a collaborative approach to the development of conflict resolution and mediation skills. Since this teaching-learning strategy in the classroom educates in values of cooperation, solidarity and generosity; values that the four educational centers defend. Finally, this project aims to improve the competence in linguistic communication of students in a transversal way. These actions will prepare the student to face life as a responsible and rational adult who is able to solve their difficulties through dialogue and the use of critical thinking without resorting to violent acts.
