Project Schedule

  • OCTOBER

    Introduction of partners First of all we’ll get permissions from parents for children for publishing their photos (safely) and creating a safe email account using the Twinspace - The eTwinning course is created in the Moodle enviroment and pupils create their own accounts and profiles.. Each class uploads a group photo and individual speaking avatars (e.g. Voki) created by each pupil. The pupils from the partner school try to identify the pupil behind each speaking avatar and link it to the person in the group picture 

    NOVEMBER

    Collaboration We’ll split our class in groups and ask them to create a logo for the project. All the logos will be uploaded and the students will be asked to vote for the one they like the most, 

    DECEMBER

    Communication -Religiuos festivals in Italy and Turkey Video/ Photo gallery - Each class chooses a religious festival from its own culture and describes its tradition, meaning and feeling using videos, photos and songs uploaded on the Twinspace.

    JANUARY

    Communication – School and family Each student writes a letter in the Moodle forum. My family Pupils draw pictures / take photos of their homes and families The pictures are scanned and linked to Moodle as a PowerPoint presentation in SlideShare or download the file itself. Pupils from the partner school try to combine the picture with a letter written in the forum and guess whose family is in each picture. My school Photo Gallery-Pupils take photos of their school, different classrooms and labs, teachers and pupils at work, the schoolyard and the surrounding area. They choose the best ones and create a photo gallery uploaded on the Twinspace. 

    FEBRUARY

     Communication/Collaboration - Food and eating Each student writes a letter in the Moodle. Pupils exchange information about their own eating habits and describe recipes of their favourite dish, attaching a photo of it. Each class chooses a recipe to be cooked at home (maybe at school). This is documented by photos / video of the dishes and the cooking process itself and uploaded on the Twinspace. Everybody tastes the dishes and give comments.

    MARCH

     Communication – My town Video – PPT presentation - Students in each country work in groups. Their topics are basic facts, nature, favourite places, cultural heritage, famous people, sports, industry etc. They create a video / ppt presentation published in the TwinSpace. 

    APRIL

    Communication – A school trip Video / PPT presentation - Students in each country work in groups on a school trip of theirs. They collect photos / videos to create a presentation and share emotions, feelings and experiences.

    MAY

    Evaluation by an enoyable quiz about the Project topics.
