eTwinningový projekt Honey story
24) Wir spielen "Honig-Spiele" am Ende des Schuljahres (Playing "honey" games at the end of the school year) - Honig-Dobble, Honig-Memory und schönes Holzspiel mit Bienenfigürchen, das wir als Geschenk für unsere Studenten bei der Konferenz in Slowenien im Dezember bekommen haben. (honey dobble, honey memory game and a nice wooden bee game, that was given to us at the conference in Slovenia in December)
23) Singen im Deutschunterricht (Singing in German lessons) - ein von den bekanntesten tschechischen Kinderliedern heißt "Včelka Mája" - "Biene Mája". Dieses Lied von unserem berühmtesten Sänger Karel Gott wurde in viele Sprachen übersetzt und ist auch Soundtrack zum beliebten Zeichentrickfilm geworden und Schüler singen es sehr gerne im Deutschunterricht (one of our most popular singers Karel Gott sang a song called Včelka Mája and it was used as a soundtrack to a cartoon with the same name, it became so popular that it was translated into many languages and the German version like our pupils in their lesson)

21) Discussion with fireworkers - discussion about how to behave when bees or hornets appear in our gardens and people are allergic to them, how to move the sworm and not to hurt them

18) Preparing a class cookery book - pupils tried to learn how to write a working procedure in Czech and all of their writings were put together and a nice class cookery book was ready

15) Graduation ball with Bee Maja - there was the annual graduation ball, that organized our eldest students to say goodbye to our school (in advance) :-) And our Bee Maja was there too!!

12) Workshop - wax candles - The last part of our project was a workshop, where wax decorations and was candles were made.
11) "Honigmärchen" - Literaturworkshop (Geschichten über Honig und Bienen) - Lesen + Basteln
10) The bee - exhibition in Písek - We visited a bee exhibition in Písek. It was possible to try of the senses of a bee there.
9) Honey dobble - All pupils love playing games, so we decided to make our own DOBBLE game. Our students drew the pictures, one of our colleagues completed the game in the computer. After some hours of cutting we finally got the nice HONEY DOBBLE GAME.
8) Honey recipes -workshop - Very popular was the Honey Cooking Workshop. We were cooking, putting a menu together, writing recipes, preparing a cookery book and eating all of the delicious meals.
7) Bienen in der tschechischen Poesie - Wir haben uns entschieden, eine Gedichtsammlung zu schaffen, von den Gedichten, wo die Bienenmotive anwesend sind. Zuerst haben die Schüler in der Bibliothek und im Internet solche Gedichte gesucht, dann haben wir sie auf ein feines Papier überschrieben. Gleich daneben steht auch eine Reflexion der Schüler über die Bedeutung der Motive. Unsere Sammlung haben wir dann mit Illustrationen geschmückt, die auf dem durchsichtigen Backpapier gemalt wurden, damit die Gedichte durchschimmern können. Wir waren überrascht, wieviele Versen mit den Bienenmotiven in unserer Poesie geschrieben wurden.
6) Photo competition - There was a photo competition in the south bohemian region to take photos of bees and one of our students, Karolína, won the first prize. The beekeper from the assosiation Apicentrum, that prepared the competition and offers many workshops and lectures, came to our school to congratulate her personally. She got many nice honey presents.
5) A beekeper at our school - We invited a beekeper to class I. NG (class II. NG had this programme last year) and he was talking about a bee life in general. We have seen a nice documentary about their lives too. Our pupils found out many interesting and useful things: a bee can live 122-150 days or that a bee can see in black-and-white coulours or she can switch to colourful vision
4) Art lessons - In art lessons class II. NG tried to find out and compare the ways of looking at things. They drew pictures of nature in two ways - one of them was the point of view of people and the second one was the point of view of the bee. So they prepared the same picture in two different ways according to the observer.
3) Märchen un Geschichten über Bienen - Im Rahmen des Projekt-Tschechischunterrichts habe ich meinen Schülern Märchen und Geschichten über Bienen vorgelesen. Wir haben viel über die Erzählungen und die Bienen-Problematik diskutiert und auch schön gebastelt. Eine Gruppe der Schüler hat wunderschönes Bienen-Memory-Spiel gebildet und andere Gruppe hat die ganze Zeit auf dem Leporellobuch gearbeitet. Wir haben zusammen viel Spaß erlebt.
2) European Day of Languages with BEES - We celebrated the European Day of Languages together with bees. We read some basic information about themppe, tried to complete some worksheets, learnt parts of their bodies, made a bee puzzle and than a beehive. We also sang a song, learnt it by heart and made bee puppets.
1) Visiting a training bee house - My class II. NG visited a bee house in Protivín, that is a town about 10km from Vodňany. They were told about bee keeping there and many things connected to the life of a bee were shown there. They could try on protection clothing, hold beekeepers frame, let a drone to walk on their hands. It was very interesting trip and I hope that they will remember it for a long time.
