The aim of the project is to celebrate the European Day of Languages together in an international way. The title of the project means that learning foraign languageis the doorway to the world. We are going to work on different tasks to promote intercultural dialogue through different forms of learning and students’ cooperation. The project will prove that ICT and teamwork can add to pupils’ motivation and involvement in language lessons as well as enhance critical thinking and social, civic and intercultural competences. In the project teachers also can exchange their ideas how to organise the EDL at school as well as to share interesting ways for classes promoting cultural and linguistic diversity. During the implementation of the project, the students will make new friends, they will increase their awareness of the worth of their and others’ cultural heritage.
