The plan for the project and deadlines for different tasks:

1. Student introductions by the end of September. (padlet, video or other presentation)
2. Logo competition: Each country will send one picture by the end of September. Each country will then vote for one picture (other than their own) within the next week.
3. Introducing the schools: a short presentation with pictures: how many students and teachers, some speacial features by the end of October
4. A collaborative story: "A not so typical school day".  One country starts the story and others keep on adding threads to it, and thus the story evolves. Starting in November.
5. Skype calls between partners, this is an ongoing activity throughout the school year. The students could write ten questions and send them beforehand so the others could think about the answers before the actual Skype calls.
6. Christmas greetings; we could choose a short common international Christmas song which the students could sing in their own language. All the partners make a video about their song. If we don't find a common song we can just sing something else or just wish Merry Christmas in different languages. In the video the students could also tell about other Christmas traditions.
7. Kahoot games: "Ten facts about _____________ (the name of the country). by the end of February.
8. A typical school day; video or other presentation with photos about the typical school day of the students, by the end of April.
9. Evaluation of the project in May.
10. Dissemination: All the partners report how they will disseminate the results of this project (web page, radio, presentations for parents, local newspapers etc.)

By completing these tasks the students get to know about the everyday life of the students from other countries (student introductions, Skype calls), different schools (school introductions and the video of the typical school day), different countries (Kahoot games) and their traditions (Christmas greetings). They will also get to be creative (logo competition and Christmas songs) and learn to use different ict tools.
