  • WHAT GAME IS IN MY BOX TODAY? (2018-19)

    1. About the project.

This project lasts from September to June and English is the target language for students. Pupils aged 6-8 will create a relationship along the school year and will carry out several activities related to create and play some different games created in collaboration. Games will be presented by a BOX GAME and children will play in groups by corners.

    2. Aims.

    • Enhance children’ oral comprehension and expression in English.
    • Create some different inside and outside games in collaboration and play them.
    • Create a “GAME CORNER” in the classroom with all the proposals created by partners in order to use it in the future.
    • Create a relationship with foreign partners and locate their countries in a European map.

    3. Work – Process.

Every month, all partners will create a new game with the images created by children. Games must be uploaded before the 10th of each month in order to leave enough time for partners to download, print, laminate and PLAY. Each teacher will decide the game to create before starting the project and will write their choice at a collaborative document. There will be an eTwinning LIVE to solve doubts before starting (a group will be created by Google hangouts)

Collaborative work: In the same school children create some pictures, words, videos, photos, etc in order to create a game that must be shared with the rest of the partners.

Cooperative work: Children will work in cooperation building a language game together.

We need to propose a game by using material created by children. We cannot propose a game without rules or materials.

If topics don’t fit with your syllabus, we can plan games and each teacher will adapt the game to their own contents. The idea is not to download games from pages, but we can get the idea and create ours owns. Here there are some examples.
