  • WHAT IS THE PROJECT ABOUT?

    This project is based on the Masterchef Tv show. It deals with different european countries gastronomy. Our students will have the chance of knowing a different culture and they will be able to elaborate traditional food from other places. 
    The project will have a duration of a school year and English will be our vehicular language.
    Each month, our students will write information about the recipe and they will make an exchange with other countries children. After that, they will have to elaborate with the help of the teacher the recipe that they have received. We will make a video of all the cooking process, which will be available  on the Etwinning platform. 
    Along all the school year, we will make other activities, such as the creation of aprons and cooking hats and the elaboration of a food pyramide, so they can bear in mind how important a healthy diet is.
    We will finish in June with the elaboration of a cooking book.

     

     

    SCHEDULE 

    The project it will start on September and it will last until June, with the idea of having two or three monthly sessions.

    1.September

    Introducing our school and students on the twinspace.

    Logo contest

    Creation of the project blog.

     

    2. October:

    Sharing recipes and elaboration of them with videos and photos.

    Elaboration of hats and aprons.

     

    3. November:

    Sharing recipes and elaboration of them. (videos and photos).

    Food pyramid mural.

     

    4. December:

    Sharing recipes (videos and photos)

     

    5. January:

    Sharing recipes (videos and photos)

     

    6. February:

    Sharing recipes (videos and photos)

     

    7. March:

    Sharing recipes (videos and photos). Foreign recipe

     

    8.  April:

    Lapbooks creation.

     

    9. May:

    Compilation of all the recipes and creation of a cooking book.

    Picture contest to ilustrate the cover.

     

    10. June

    Evaluation of the project. Final video conference.

    WHAT COUNTRIES ARE INVOLVED IN THE PROJECT?

    FINAL PROJECT

    The final project will consist on the elaboration of an ebook with all the recipes  (with videos and photos) that have be done during the schoolyear. The children will make a contest to make the cover of the ebook.
