My students met well-known Polish mathematicians. They gathered information about them and prepared a poster. Our poster was hanged on the school corridor so that other students could get to know it.

Stefan Banach - an outstanding Polish mathematician. He lived in the years 1892 - 1945. He was the author of many mathematical textbooks. He established the foundations of functional analysis.

Nicolaus Copernicus - an eminent Polish scholar. He lived in the years 1475 - 1543. was a Renaissance-era mathematician and astronomer who formulated a model of the universe that placed the Sun rather than the Earth at the center of the universe.

Hypatia 370 yılında İskenderiye'de doğdu. İlk kadın matematikçidir. O yaygın bir matematik ve mantık öğretmeni olarak kabul edilir. Geometri, cebir ve astronomi ile uğraştı ve astrolog ve higroskop nasıl yapılacağını biliyordu.
